Hello All,
I trying to work out a solution with a customer to bring their
current pots leased line system to a VoIP solution. The customer
currently has a PSTN leased line from site A to B, which then plugs into
some type of intercom system each end(think of an analog phone on each
end with it off hook all the time).

Is there anyway to do this over VoIP ?
That is have an open link between say 2 x 1721 or 1751 cisco routers
with FXS ports to have an non stop open stream between the FXS port at
each location. So when customer A presses the intercom button to connect
to site B its already open & there is no dialling between the 2 systems.
Any suggestions or idea's would be largely appreciated.

Cheers,

Greg Maiorana.

I'm trying to set up vtadvantage. But I'm not having luck on enabling
video on my 7940. I don't see how to make the vidoe icon appear. And
not sure if this is related but when I open vtadvantage it does no
detect my ip phone. I am connected to the ipphone swith

Hello,

I have a connection between a PBX MD110 and a Cisco router C2851 running
MGCP. I have Slips errors all the time, counter is increasing every few
seconds. Calls are working well but I have a lot of errors. The MD110 is
configured to supply the clock and this is the config in the router:

controller E1 0/0/0

 clock source line primary

 pri-group timeslots 1-31 service mgcp

!

controller E1 0/0/1

 pri-group timeslots 1-31 service mgcp

I configured the 'clock source line primary' in one of them but both
QSiGs have the same Slip errors:

r2851ctp01#sh controllers e1

E1 0/0/0 is up.

Applique type is Channelized E1 - balanced

  No alarms detected.

  alarm-trigger is not set

  Version info Firmware: 20050620, FPGA: 16, spm_count = 0

Framing is CRC4, Line Code is HDB3, Clock Source is Line Primary.

CRC Threshold is 320. Reported from firmware is 320.

Data in current interval (422 seconds elapsed):

0 Line Code Violations, 0 Path Code Violations

48 Slip Secs, 0 Fr Loss Secs, 0 Line Err Secs, 0 Degraded Mins

48 Errored Secs, 0 Bursty Err Secs, 0 Severely Err Secs, 0 Unavail
Secs

E1 0/0/1 is up.

Applique type is Channelized E1 - balanced

  No alarms detected.

  alarm-trigger is not set

  Version info Firmware: 20050620, FPGA: 16, spm_count = 0

Any idea? The config in the CCM side is almost the default...

Regards,

Ruben

Dido here. Our Oracle developers built a package in Crystal Reports for
management, which spits out about 10 to 15 different reports each month.

we used our in house programmers and told them what we needed and they
came up with a custom app for us. Not web based but it interfaces with
our billing system to automagically send bills each month based on total
toll charges. took him about 2.5 hours to do.

I'd also like to hear about such a beast.

But I'd also like to hear about people's experience with setting up
their own reports using a custom SQL report tool. I've looked at a few
out there that seem quite good and allow you to create SQL reports with
user input and are web based.

Can anyone point me to a CDR reporting tool that:

	1) Will directly access the Cisco CDR database (we've used
Infortel but
it discards a lot of the information in the Cisco CDR records).
	2) Provides more advanced reporting capabilities than ART
provides.
	3) Specifically targeted at CDR reports, not some generic SQL
reporting
	tool.
