[cisco-voip] Question: Splitting T1 with PRI service

Greetings:
I have a Cisco 3825 with a VWIC-2MFT-T1 (2-Port RJ-48 Multiflex Trunk - T1)
with two voice T1 connections (one is PRI). I also have a NM-6DM digital
modem module, and I plan to add another MICA-6MOD to expand to 12 modems
total. After a previous post it was made clear to me that in order to use
the digital modems on this platform I would need to use a NM-1CT1 network
module for the modem T1. Had I read cisco.com closer I would have noticed
this.
I need 12 B channels for our modem calls, but after checking with our phone
company I was informed that a fractional T1 from them is actually more
expensive than a full T1. So we'll go with a full T1, and this is the basis
of my question.
Is it possible for me to split the timeslots on the T1 into two pri-groups
(1-13, 14-24 for example) and set Serialx/x/x:12 with 'isdn incoming-voice
modem' and Serialx/x/x:23 with 'isdn incoming-voice voice' so that I can use
the rest of the T1 for voice calls?
I just want to know if I'm way off base here, or if this is common practice.
This group was very helpful and surprisingly quick to respond after my last
post.
Thanks.
