[cisco-voip] Unity

Create a Call Handler in Unity, Set the Transfer To option to the DN of the
Route Point. In your VM box set say option 1 to transfer to the call
handler. Now when someone is in your voicemail box and presses 1, they will
be transferred to the Helpdesk ICD.

I do this a lot with IPCC Express deployments, where customers want an Auto
Attendant to work in regards to IPCC Express. I find it easier to make
changes to the Unity AA then to have an AA script in IPCC Express.

You can also use this technique to transfer to any DN from Unity, I
frequently set up call handlers to route calls to phones that do not have vm
boxes and to off net numbers such as a cell phone.

How do I make a Call handler go to a CM Route Point? If it goes to my
Voice mail I want the user to have the option of dialing a call handler
to my Helpdesk which is a IPCC Express Script (ICD) .

TIA

Scott
