[cisco-voip] Sudden FXS problem

This was a weird problem. I restarted everything trying to get the
ports working again. Since I'd made no config changes, I figured
restarting hardware would correct the issue. Alas, it didn't have any
effect. Today I arrived at the office ready to reconfigure all the
ports, hair pinning, route patterns, etc. I don't know what caused the
problem, but when I started futzing with the configs I seem to have done
something that caused the ports to fix themselves.
Thanks to those that responded to my original post.
Jeremy

Subject: [cisco-voip] Sudden FXS problem
Hi everyone,
All of a sudden and without any config changes, my VIC-4FXS ports (in an
nm-hd-2v in a 2651XM) used for fax machines give fast busy on dialing.
I know these were working just a couple of days ago without issue. They
receive okay, but they will not dial out. I reset the gateway, rebooted
the router, and rebooted the CCM 4 server, but nothing I did had any
effect.
Has anyone else seen this sort of behavior? Or, does anyone have any
suggestion as to where I might look to begin troubleshooting. As I
mentioned above, they were working and I made no changes.
Many thanks,
Jeremy
