Another possibility would be to set up a call handler(s) so that the open/closed action goes to another call handler.
Something like
CH_1 -> standard -> plays standard open greeting.
-> alternate -> goes to CH_2
CH_2 -> standard -> plays 'delay' greeting
-> alternate -> plays 'closed' greeting.
By doing it this way, they need only sign into the greetings administrator.

Did anyone have any ideas on this?
I noticed no one answered- figured it fell down people's Inboxes who _might_ have had an answer...

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity question regarding OGM configuration requested...
I work for a school district-
Our Transportation/Communications Director wants to have three possible outgoing messages on the system 'snow hotline'
a. One for normally open, in both English and Spanish
b. One for 2-hour delay, in both English and Spanish
c. One for closed, in both English and Spanish
The problem is the Spanish part- He is the one who (in conjunction with our superintendent)
makes the call as to what status we're on during a weather situation.
Since he doesn't speak Spanish, he has to have pre-recorded messages...
From what I can discover, it's not possible to have three OGM on one voicemail box-
Since we don't want them to have admin access to Unity to make changes to it's configuration
(and they doesn't want to risk screwing something up in the admin interface either)
The solution our vendor suggested was - One VMbox that points to one of three other VMboxes, depending upon how CallFwdAll is set up-
Each type of message (closed, open, 2-hour) is recorded on one of the OGM of each VMbox.
The person in charge of putting us in 'closed for snow, or 2-hour delay' just calls in, and changes the FWD as appropriate-
Very easy for an end user to manage at 4:30 AM when the decision is made.
