Feature by design or bug ?

----
dial-peer voice 101 voip
 destination-pattern 10.
 session protocol sipv2
 session target ipv4:10.0.0.133
 dtmf-relay rtp-nte

telephony-service
 dialplan-pattern 1 95555... extension-length 3

ephone-dn 4 dual-line
 number 5003 no-reg primary
 call-forward busy 104
 call-forward noan 105 timeout 18
----

In this configuration the call forward is to a 3 digit extension (same
as the extension-length), debug shows the number that is dialed is
95555104 (or 95555105) which obviously does not exist. If I change the
extension-length back to 4, the number dialed is indeed 104 (or 105)
which then honors dial-peer 101. This may be by design but feels more
like a bug to me.

My problem then is when the call is forwarded (to a 3rd party VM server)
the call is seen as from the caller pointing them to their own mailbox
rather than that of the person they were calling.
