It looks like a mistake in cisco documentation.
The sentence should be corrected like this I think
"If a called number starts with 5552205 or 72205, then translation ..."
After that everything looks correct.

regards,
Arunas

Subject
[cisco-voip] Translation rule

I'm trying to find out some explanations about translation rule:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122cgcr/fvvf

ax_r/vrf_r.htm#wp1141933

fax_r/vrf_r.htm#wp1141933>
Examples
The following example applies a translation rule. If a called number
starts
with 5552205 or 52205, then translation rule 21 will use the rule command
to
forward the number to 14085552205 instead.
translation-rule 21
 rule 1 555.% 1408555 subscriber international
 rule 2 7.% 1408555 abbreviated international

I don't understand how called number starting with 52205 can be translated
to 14085552205?
What's the second rule doing here?

best regards,
Yinglam Cheung
