If I had the UM licenses I would get rid of the old VM system. Is there a
way inside the Unity SQL DB to add contacts?

I've run into the problem where we started small (150 users) and now I'm
getting heat from admin that when people call the auto attendant on the old
VM system they can't get to the people that have been moved over to the
Unity system. I'm looking for a way to fix it so that everyone is on the
auto attendant.

Does CM or CRS do something like this?

Scott

I don't have the $45k to move people over right now to UM... I have looked
and the PBX will work, it's just getting the cash.

Your UM subscribers work because they are already in AD obviously.
Because subscriber phone numbers are stored in Unity's SQL db (as
dtmfaccessidi) rather than in AD you'll only be able to get redirected (and
even find I think) users in AD that are Unity subscribers.

So if your legacy vm folks want to be searched from Unity's directory
handler try adding them as Unity subscribers if you have the license room.
As long as you do release to switch transfer and CM knows to send them to
the correct vm pilot you should be fine.
