Running 4.1 which has fast start under the gateway settings now. I had
to enable fast start on outgoing calls before I could even get the
link to the s8700 working. Could never get it to work in 4.0.

Prior to enabling fast start, call control would work, but the audio
codec/setup would never negotiate so I could never get an audio path
up when the CM would initate a call to the 8700. Again in this
situation a call orignating from the 8700 would work fine.
