[cisco-voip] Beep for no reason?

Is Berbee (or any app) posting XML data to the phone?  if you post multicast
start receive or multicast start transmit the phone beeps and displays a
little speaker symbol.

User just called and said that there 7940 running 7.2(2.0) on CM 4.1.3 is
beeping every once and a while (not ringing).  Any ideas?  No calls coming
in, no new voicemail.  We are also running Unity 4.0.5.  Might have to do
with new email, but I don't think so.  No MWI associated with the beep.
