[cisco-voip] Echo on PSTN calls

In Voice Port configuration or from the Gateway configuration in CM you
can enter echo-cancel coverage "number".

 

IE.

 

voice-port 3/0:23

 echo-cancel coverage 128

!

voice-port 3/1:23

 echo-cancel coverage 128

!

voice-port 3/2:23

 echo-cancel coverage 128

!

voice-port 3/3:23

 echo-cancel coverage 64

!

voice-port 3/4:23

 echo-cancel coverage 64

!

voice-port 3/5:23

 echo-cancel coverage 64

I have an issue with one of our users who is describing calls across the
PSTN as having a echo, he says he can also hear himself and it sounds to
him as if he's talking down a tunnel. Has anyone come across these
complaints before? I was wondering if there was any commands that can be
added to the config to eliminate these.
