Hi,

Echo is a rather complex subject. The Cisco IPT Troubleshooting Book has
quite good information regarding echo, you will also find a lot of
articles on cco. For example:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk698/technologies_tech_note09186a
0080149a1f.shtml

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk701/technologies_white_paper0918
6a00800d6b68.shtml

First try a larger echo cancellation coverage value on your voice ports
and see if that helps.

Best regards

bernhard

Betreff: [cisco-voip] Echo on PSTN calls

I have an issue with one of our users who is describing calls across the
PSTN as having a echo, he says he can also hear himself and it sounds to
him as if he's talking down a tunnel. Has anyone come across these
complaints before? I was wondering if there was any commands that can be
added to the config to eliminate these.
