[cisco-voip] Codec

I currently have a remote site that is on a T1 and I'm going to be moving to
a 5 mb Ethernet connection.

Currently we are using the G729 codec between the remote site and the
central site.  All my IPT application currently support G729 and G711 or I
have Transcoding working for the applications that don't support G729.

So the question:  is there any reason to move the remote site to G711
