Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity configuration problem
Hi,
Unity 4.0.4 with Win2K/Ex2K in VM-only deployment, all services on one box
(HP DL380, platform overlay 2) and totally separated from customer existing
AD.
Installation proceeds just fine, until it's time to connect the message
store. I get the questions regarding Install-account password, the
Unity-admin and what kind of store that will be integrated, once Exchange
2000 is selected as partner, the following error shows up;
"Failed getting default mailbox store from directory monitor"
Tempu.log shows the following;
2005-11-05T14:06:56 -
IAvDSConfig::Get(AV_DIR_CONNECTOR_DEFAULT_MAILBOX_STORE) failed: 0x80040e14
(e:\views\cs_ue4.0.3.159\un_Doh2\UnityConfig\Setup\Ex2kSelectExchange.cpp
161)
2005-11-05T14:06:56 - Step:CFailedStep [IDD_FAILED]
(e:\views\cs_ue4.0.3.159\un_Doh2\UnityConfig\Setup\ThisSetup.cpp 552)
Anyone with any good hints? All relevant logfiles to my knowledge has been
checked for further information without any success. Services and
AD/Exchange/SQL has been verified (it's possible to send mails, access the
GAL and so on). SQL tables are somewhat populated but no accounts has shown
up in the AD yet.
Since this is a new deployment, the system has been reinstalled a couple of
times by now but the problem keeps reappearing.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
