What vlan is the CM on and what Vlan are the Voice Gatway and IP Phones
on. I'm guessing that the CM is on vlan 1 but the VGW and phones are on
another. The RTP stream is just between devices and not CM. IF you want
the RTP stream you will need to look at the vlan they are in. are you
also looking at both or just the default tx?
Example of SPAN:
monitor session 1 source vlan 102 both
monitor session 1 destination interface fastethernet 0/7

Subject: [cisco-voip] Port monitoring RTP streams
While this isn't Cisco VoIP specific, it is Cisco specific and does
involve VoIP..... :-)
I need to setup a mirrored port on a 3548 to monitor the RTP streams on
a vlan. I configured Fa0/7 for "port monitoring vlan 1", but all I see
is CCM http/https/icmp traffic, never any RTP streams. What am i
missing?
