We are about to deploy IPT to one of our remote sites for about 40
users, the office will be split into three separate areas who will each
have their own main number and DDI's. We will be running two routers one
for the WAN and one for voice which will have a 30 channel PRI
The problem we have is how to deploy the SRST with regard to the main
numbers, if we set up hunt groups for each area then we have an issue
getting these main numbers to ring in SRST mode, the only way I can
think to get around this will be to present both their DDI and main
number on each phone during normal working practice, but I prefer hunt
groups as this is less confusing for the users.
I know I can forward an extension to other phones in a round robin type
fashion using Aliases and then use pickup but how will this
differentiate between the three areas of the office.
