[cisco-voip] hiss during PSTN calls

Hi

 

I have a customer who is experiencing hissing during periods of silence
in a call to the PSTN.  It's appears to be a typical vad/comfort noise
issue except that I have VAD and comfort noise disabled on the voice
port and in the CCM system parameters. This is a MGCP gateway so there
are no voip dial peers to configure.  

 

Just wondering if anyone knows what else might cause this or if there
are any commands I might be overlooking on the gateway.
