The only way to remove unassigned DNs is through the route plan screen. As far as I know.
I just recently found that not only does this contain deleted DNs, but if you create a phone, say DN 12345 in PT_A, and then decide to move it to PT_B, the system puts 12345/PT_A in the unassigned DN category. :(

Anyone know of a good way to manage inactive directory numbers (DN's not
associated to any device) in CCM 4.1? These orphaned DN's appear to
occur when a DN is changed on device vs. removed. So far the only way
I've been able to access them is via Route Plan Report.
