[cisco-voip] Managing Inactive Directory Numbers

Makes sense since each DN/partition combination is unique and has no
relation to the 'old' one.

The only way to remove unassigned DNs is through the route plan screen.
As far as I know.

I just recently found that not only does this contain deleted DNs, but
if you create a phone, say DN 12345 in PT_A, and then decide to move it
to PT_B, the system puts 12345/PT_A in the unassigned DN category. :(

Anyone know of a good way to manage inactive directory numbers
(DN's not
associated to any device) in CCM 4.1? These orphaned DN's
appear to
occur when a DN is changed on device vs. removed. So far the
only way
I've been able to access them is via Route Plan Report.

	Thanks,
	Jon
