[cisco-voip] burn-in with idle URL

Yes, that's one of my concerns as well. Along with not being able to see your softkeys, so things like pickup, callback, etc...require you to exit the idle screen first.
There's a prompt you can edit, but it get's over written with "one missed call, you have voicemail, etc"
I'm not sure what the solution is!

No it doesn't stay up when a call comes in. The complaint I've heard the most is that it doesn't allow the user to pre-dial a number, you have to "Exit" the idle URL screen first then pre-dial.

I've seen it with dark logos on 7940s/60s as well and it was pretty bad. You could set up an alternating idle URL if you know .asp.
Haven't turned on idle urls in a while, does it still stay up even when a phone call comes in? That was a big complaint in the past.
