[cisco-voip] VMWare recommendations for CM/IPCC

Considering I run CM 4.2 on way less than that under the free server, I
don't think so.

First, how much RAM/CPU does the CM process get?

Second, have you verified your network connection is operating without
error?

Subject: [cisco-voip] VMWare recommendations for CM/IPCC

Hi,

I currently am running CM 4.2 and IPCC 4.0.4 under VMware server (free
edition), and i am having the issue of choppy audio for the announciator and
MOH, same for IPCC prompts.
If i just run CM i still have the same problem, i don`t think it is a
hardware/capacity problem, because the server is a dual core 3,8 Ghz with 4
GB of DDR2 at 800Mhz and running a raid 0+1 with 340 GB 7200 rpm 16 MB sata2
disks.
Guest OS is Win2003 64-bit.
Do you think that ESX or GSX server would be better?

Thanks

Erik
