[cisco-voip] IPCC Express licensing question

Hi

I'm working on an upgrade quote for a customer who is currently running IPCC
Standard version 3.5 on a HP DL380 G3 3GHz Xeon (single cpu) server. They
would like to upgrade to IPCC 4.0 enhanced and add a hot standby server.
I've run through the bid generator spreadsheet and its all pretty straight
forward except for one thing. The current server (which was deployed by a
different firm) seems to be licensed for 100 agents, 10 supervisors and 150
ivr ports. I'm getting the agent license information from the License
upgrade utility on the server itself and the ivr port number from the number
of registered CTI ports in callmanager.

The problem is that the server in this configuration does not support that
many agents and ivr ports so my questions are as follows:

Am I interpreting the current licensing information correctly? The license
upgrade utility shows the following:
CRA Standard ICD Server
CRA Standard Historical Reporting
CRA Desktop Media Termination - 100
CRA Agent Phone - 100
CRA Standard Agent Desktop 100
CRA Standard Supervisor Desktop 10

If the customer does not need that many agents or ivr ports, can they only
purchase an upgrade for the number they need? If so, will I have any
problems performing the upgrade if the new license file is not for the same
numbers as the old license files?

Thanks in advanced for you help.
