The upgrade is to run the Data Migration Assistant, which converts the
current CCM4.X MS SQL database to an IBM Informix database and creates a
tarball that you pull off the box.

You then nuke (in place) your existing server, install CCM5.0X, and restore
the tarball to the new Linux box.

If you do it in place, the installation will read the IP, hostname, off of
the old box before blowing it away.

The only functional difference between a new install and an upgrade is your
selection during the install (and prior tasks)...
