[cisco-voip] CIPC-2-0-1a.loads - Does it exist?

My concern is, how does the CIPC client know to get an update from the
TFTP server when my device defaults still shows 1.1(3)? For example, if
Cisco releases 2.0(2), the client has no idea that 2.0(2) is out because
the TFTP server is still set to 1.1(3). I know in previous versions of
CIPC, they had you run a SCCP install, but if the new CIPC 2.0 uses the
same load as the 797x, then I guess I shouldn't worry much. Thanks.

You said it works fine so I think you answered your own question. I
think since it uses SCCP it should use the same load that any 797X
should use. I have 2.0(1a) running and have not had to install any
additional phone loads.....

I just downloaded IP Communicator 2.0(1a) and installed it on my laptop
and it works just fine, but don't I need to install the IP Communicator
phone load on the TFTP server? My 'Device Defaults' currently shows
CIPC-1-1-3-0 under 'Cisco IP Communicator' and I would assume it should
show CIPC-2-0-1a under it. I remember when I first installed version
1.1(3), I had to run some device package installation so I created the
files under the TFTP directory. Is this not the case for version 2.0?
I can't seem to find (if it exists) the phone loads for CIPC 2.0. Is
anyone experiencing the same thing I am? Thanks in advance.
