[cisco-voip] Changing Users

OK, so maybe this is an easy question, but it keeps stumping me!

I have an employee, let's call him John Smith.  John resigns.  We replace
him with Jane Doe.

What steps should I follow for voicemail and CCM?  We don't integrate
Exchange, so I don't have to worry about that part.
Right now, I go in and change the name that appears in the Directory, and
change the password in Unity, then have the new user setup and wipe out the
old users settings.   But I know that is not the right solution.

Do I wipe them out of Unity first?  CCM first?  Can I leave them in CCM, and
just change the name there??

Any help would be great!
