Actually, I use an ATA connected to a Bogen TAMB, then whatever paging
amplifier is connected to the TAMB. The TAMB accepts a station port (or
a POTS line), answers when it rings and converts the audio to standard
600 ohm dry as needed for a paging system.

The TAMB has an adjustable timer to disconnect based on silence. This
works pretty well, however if that timer is set too long, CallManager
can send reorder to ATA when the caller disconnections. Sound is sound
to the TAMB, so it keeps the pager online, with users listening to
reorder in glorious surround sound. The other extreme of the adjustment
is where the user is disconnected from the pager during natural pauses
in the announcement, such as the pause most people take between repeats.
It's generally not too tough to adjust for somewhere between.

To answer the original question, I don't think there is such a timer on
the ATA, however if your analog paging system can accept a station port
for paging, it would have to provide some degree of conversion (at least
internally) for FXS to FXO and it probably has some timeout adjustment
therein. If not, you may be able to add a Bogen TAMB or a Valcom V-9970
between the ATA and the paging amplifier. The Valcom is quite a bit
nicer and more sophisticated unit, with feedback canceling and other
nice features though it is also quite a bit more expensive.
