[cisco-voip] Swapping drive to another server and losing GC

Not a dumb question. I probably should have explained what I'm doing. I
have one of my peers that's making configurations on the primary
CallManager in order to get it set up for IPCC. I need a configurable
Publisher to set up for training, thus the need to move a Pub drive to
my Subscriber. Then I'm going to put the drive back in the primary
server (Pub) after the training. Hope that makes sense.

Possibly a dumb question, but, if they are identical, why switch them
around?

Hey all - I have two identical MCS 7835 server platforms that shipped
together form Cisco. I made one of them a Pub and the other a Sub with
RAID 1. I need to make the Sub a Pub for a little while so I pulled a
drive form the Pub. When I put it in the Sub I was able to boot it up
and get phones registered. My only problem is that when I try to pull up
the Global Directory from CCM admin it times out and I got a "page
cannot be displayed". I can still login a user via ccmuser. I just can't
go into GC from CCMadmin to change any user attributes. Anyone know
what's going on? If I put the drive back into the Publisher I can access
GC with no problem.

Thanks,

Jason
