Hi Guys,

We have a remote site connecting to the CCM server, the remote voice gateway
is 2811 router, running H.323 protocol.
Today, the phone dropped out a couple of times during the voice
conversation. I checked the Callmanager event log,

E rror: DeviceTransientConnection - Transient connection attempt.

Connecting Port: 2000
Device name [Optional].: SEP000CCEC05CB1
Device IP address.: ******
Device type. [Optional]: 8
Reason Code [Optional].: 1
App ID: Cisco CallManager
Cluster ID: AIMCCM1-Cluster
Node ID: 192.168.208.50
Explanation: A connection was established and immediately dropped before
completing registration. Incomplete registration may indicate a device is
rehoming in the middle of registration. The alarm could also indicate a
device misconfiguration, database error, or an illegal/unknown device trying
to attempt a connection.

Recommended Action: No action is required if this event was issued as a
result of a normal device rehome.. E

The ping test from the Callmanager server to the remote IP phone is max
900ms, average 133ms

Any idea about this problem? We have no voice-over-IP calls at the moment,
so the callmanager shouldn't get invloved in the call conversation. The
network latency shouldn;t affect the voice conversation.

Appreciate any input.

Regards & Thanks
