I use the following batch file for ipcc express 3.x deployments. Place
it in the \\server\desktop_cfg directory and run it to copy it to the
agent's startup folder. Create a user icduser with password icduser and
grant change access the the desktop_cfg folder. Notes are out to the
side of each line.

whenever JTAPI version is upgraded, this alleviates updating all the
agent desktops with the "hotfixes"
copy \\10.132.5.16\desktop_cfg\cisco.bat "C:\WINNT\Profiles\All
Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" /Y - each time the agent logs in,
it copies the batch file down again. That way you can make one change
to this batch file and propogate it out to all agent desktops.

In IPCCx 3.x you have to add a login for each agent to the IPCC server.
( I really hated that, but it's fixed in ver. 4.0)
I don't' have a link off hand but you can setup a username / password on
the server, then create a BAT file to login. Add the bat file to the
login and then it works.

Subject: [cisco-voip] IPCC Express Co-Resident and DESKTOP_CONFIG

Hi,
I have an IPCC 3.5(2) server co-resident with my call manager. I would
like to use the Agent Desktop applications but after an install when I
start the Agent application I get an authentication error trying to
connect to \\CALLMANAGER\DESKTOP_CONFIG\
<file:///\\CALLMANAGER\DESKTOP_CONFIG\> for an ini file.
The Call Manager is not a member of my Windows Domain so client computer
can not authenticate with it. I tried adding Anonymous login to the
share and security settings but I was still unable to open that
directory.
Are IPCC servers usually members of the windows domain like Unity?
