Couple questions:

MGCP or H323?

If H323 where is your VoIP dial peers?

What version of CM are you running?

Subject: [cisco-voip] DID

Hey All,

i have an e1 that has both did/dod on it
the dod is working okay with us however the did we are having a
problem...

when we call the extenstion from an external number the phone rings but
when you pick up there is nothing and the calling phone is still trying
to
ring... the thing is the caller doesnt get a tone thats says its calling
the other party.. and also when the called party recieves the ringing
and
hangs up ... it starts ringing again ...
it is as if the caller can signal the called party but the called party
cannot tell the the calling party that it recieved the phone call

we thought maybe there is a problem with a firewall on the customer
premsis where it blocks the call manager from sending a signal to say
the
call has arrived but we dont have a firewall that blocks that

the configuration is below

dial-peer voice 2 pots
 destination-pattern .T
 incoming called-number .T
 direct-inward-dial
 port 7/6:0

voice-port 7/6:0
 compand-type a-law

controller E1 7/6
 framing NO-CRC4
 ds0-group 0 timeslots 1-15,17-31 type r2-digital r2-semi-compelled
 cas-custom 0
  country saudiarabia

Any Input at this point will be helpful
