that was it--

Sounds like I need to play with Line Group as well--

Pilot Points appear to ring only round robin, first available or most
idle...

I really want all phones to ring at once (without wasting a Line
appearance/speed dial) ....

I just gave up on the PP, since I realised it would only ring the first
person and go into their voicemail (without smoe additional config..)

I've now configured a Line Group, but I'm not sure how to proceed to
give that a single number to call that rings all the phones in the LG???

Thanks for the quick responses---
y'all are doing a GREAT job of keeping me from having to write budget
proposal addendums this AM
(getting to play with technology ALWAYS trumps paperwork ;-)

;-) T

Subject: [cisco-voip] Silly PilotPoint>Hunt Group question...

Hi everyone-

Here's the goal-

I have a remote office for some of our technicians-
I want to set up a number so that when I call that number, all phones
ring (either in sequence, or simultaneouly (prefer that)

this is so that anyone who is there will answer the call - since I don't
know who is at their desk...

Here's what I've done-

Created Pilot Point 5180
Created Hunt Group with that number-
Added members to that ("Call Directory number 6149","Call Directory
number 6150", and so on )

I've reset the Pilot Point and updated the Hunt Group --

I cannot call that Pilot Point.... get a fast busy...

What am I missing?

Is it not possible to have members of a Hunt Group who are just regular
phones??
