[cisco-voip] Callers Hear Beeps When Being Transferred

All callers are hearing 3 quick beeps. I have changed the timer to be
20 seconds, but for outside callers, the 3 quick beeps occur every 10
seconds. For IP to IP phone calls, the beeps happen every 20 seconds.
Should the Tone on Hold timer apply to both gateway and IP to IP calls?
Is there another setting for Tone on Hold for H.323 gateways?

Are they hearing 3-quick beeps or one beep? With tone on hold (before
adjusting any timers) when putting someone on hold it plays 3 quick
beeps when the hold is initiated then beeps every x seconds (10 by
default).
Maybe this tone is coming from somewhere else???
Have you tried IP phone to IP Phone, and same thing happens? If you're
not using MOH anywhere then this may show same symptons. Is user hold
and network hold set to same setting? If so then putting someone on hold
should be same as a transfer where network hold kicks in until transfer
is done.
