I believe you'll want to use the new format for talking SCCP to CM. Thes
newer profile based format allows you to set a name that CM will recognize.
Unfortunately I can't find the link that describes this.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CM 3.3(4) adding hardware MTP and CFB with same MAC

Been so long since I added a hardware cfb and mtp instead of the enhanced
IOS cfb/mtp.

I am trying to add a hardware cfb and mtp. The problem I am having is that
obviously I will have the same MAC address for both because it will be the
interface sccp is associated with.

I can add the CFB but when I try to add the MTP with the same mac I get an
error a device with the same MAC exists (CFB11111111111). Shouldn't they be
different because its prefixed with MTP? What am I missing?
