[cisco-voip] once and for all, whats the diff with **#** and reset from ccm

Maybe a clarification of my below statement is needed......
If you "Reset" the phone from CCMAdmin the phone will perform DHCP and
TFTP the config. The phone will do the same if you use "**#**" or
disconnect and reconnect it to the switch. But if you perform a
"Restart" of the phone it only unregisters and re-registers with CCM
which does not include DHCP and TFTP of the config file. If you are
making changes that go into the config file, such as Device Pool,
CallManager Group, Load info, etc then you will need to "Reset" the
phone. If you are making changes to items that aren't downloaded to
the phone, such as Partitions, CSS, etc, then a "Restart" of the phone
is sufficient so that CCM reads the phone's config. If you are unsure
which to use - it is better to select "Reset" although it will take a
bit longer for the phone to re-register.
Hope this helps.
