[cisco-voip] 7970 Line Appearance

What is the benefit of having the second appearance of the extension on the 
7970 phone?
The single line can support something like 200 calls, but the default phone 
has two lines and
4 speed dials, wondering what advantage or disadvantage to have the second 
line appearance
of the extension.  I also find that the second line appearance must be in a 
different partition.
