[cisco-voip] IP phone does not startup

We have had this a lot with the 7970, you need to perform a factory
reset.

 

Remove the network cable or power cord, hold down the # key keeping
pressed down until the lights cycle through the buttons, let go of the #
key and then type

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 * 0 #  its should then reset itself although it can
take quite a while, ensure that the phone can access DHCP otherwise it
will not work.

Hi All,

 

Strange thing has been happening, there are a few phones in the network
that when I unplug the network cable and plug it back in the phone does
not startup nothing appears on the LCD screen but the buttons on the
side flash green these have been happening with 7941 and 7961, I thought
it was a firmware issue, but not all phones are doing this just a few,
any help ?
