With the Advanced Settings Tool and Unity 4.2 you can customize the subject line.

http://www.ciscounitytools.com/TOI_Unity42.htm - for the training video on this feature

Variables that can be used to customize subject are:

%NAME% -- sending subscribers name or sending interview box name
%EXTENSION% - sending subscribers primary extension
%CALLERID% -- Caller ID obtained from switch integration
%CALLEDID% - Called ID obtained from switch integration

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unified messaging question

When a message arrives in the inbox (using unified messaging) - Is there any way to change the subject field from the extension of the number that is calling to say the line label or something else in unified messaging? Thanks
