[cisco-voip] CCM 5 on VMWare Server 1.0.0

I have it working under windows with VMWare workstation, but have all
sorts of trouble running under VMware server on Fedora 5. What version
of OS and VMware are you running? 

Lab testing for CM 5 is going to be interesting, I believe the stock
standard features from 4.1 are ok (from my tests) however getting into
some of the newer features will be interesting. Presence, etc I have had
mixed results, reminded me of the CM 3.2 where you had to restart CTI
manager all the time.

Has anyone played with presence yet? I have done the VT lab?

I have had little or no problems installing CCM5 on VMWare... the
problem is licensing... Cisco needs to release a demo license (5
phones, 2 nodes) for lab purposes (if they want anyone to even think
about deploying this thing).

Until we have completed lab testing (which we cannot do with 5), there
is no way in hell we will deploy it in our network.

Cisco's loss (our network has 240,000 users).
