[cisco-voip] 7940/7941 - device profile settings lost with EM.

Has any one come across this scenario? I have a customer experiencing
this.

 

A user with  a 7940 dev profile logs into a 7941 and looses the speed
dial associated with the second line button. if they log back into a
7940 it appears again.

 

A 7941 profile can log into a 7940 with no issue and speed dials are
retained.

 

Button template of the phone the device profile is the same. 

 

Searched CCO and could not find anything easily.

 

Any thoughts / experiences
