[cisco-voip] how to conf 3 digit ext if we are getting 4 fromcarrier

Hey this seems to work   WOW  well can I ask what will be the best way to go
from 3 digs to 4.  the issue is that the custom request to keep there
current setup which is 3 digs.. But I know they are going to come back and
say we want to go with 4 dig for growth ability.  I know in unity u can add
or del digits to the ext..  What can you do for the CM

Use a Translation pattern to shorten.  I get 7 digits from the telco and
transform that into 4.

 

e.g.

telco sends 4200 

Translastion pattern 4XXX

Called Party Transfrom mask XXX

how to conf 3 digit ext if we are getting 4 from carrier

 

im doing a site that want to use 3 dig ext.  and the carrier are sending 4
dig for our DID..

Ive already conf the CM with 3 dig.  What can I do at this point
