[cisco-voip] SIP and MTP

Hi Guys,

I'm confused .... about SIP trunks on CCM :-)

The documentation states that SIP requires a MTP for DTMF processing....
and the config pages of CCM do not allow to disable MTP. 

Does that mean all calls, which are processed via a SIP trunk terminate
on the CCMs MTP? Or just calls how need DTMF? Or always because there
could be DTMF involved?

Can anyone point out what happens there? How does that work?
