Also in unity 4.2 you can set the caller input to an alternate contact
number instead of a call handler and that number is configurable via the
user logon page or unity administration
Thanks

Yes, unity does this. Create a call handler for your cell phone then Go
under the subscriber and click on caller input.
You can add a different one for each number. I put our helpdesk on 1
and my cell on 2.

avoicemail box..
Is it possible to set up either the CCM or Unity, such that--
when a calling party begins to hear a users VM message, they can hit a
key and be transferred to an outside number--
(ie, someone calls me, gets my VM, and for people who know it, hitting
"7" will redirect them to my cell phone)
Another IT group in town has this feature enabled-- its -very- handy
for their internal usage.. in their case, the average user doesn't know
that pushing "7" does that, but
the helpdesk does- so they can track someone down just a little
faster...
thanks, Tim
