Yes it is. The problem is the company that came in and set this up is no
where to be found. They don't return calls or anything so this company is
left to fend for themselves. I am trying to hunt down the password for the
CME box to go further. Thus far I have only been working in the Cisco Call
Manager Express GUI.
There is no speed dial set up that I can tell for this phone and only 1 line
is configured. They cannot initiate a dial from the new call soft button or
by pressing the line button either.
Waiting for password before I can go further..... Any other ideas welcome
otherwise thanks for all of your suggestions!
Curt

Is this CME?
If so then you may be hitting this:
CSCsc06635 - CME No dialtone when two buttons and a speed dial in
configure in a 7940
Symptom:
When configure two buttons, and one speed-dial on a 7940 phone
connected to a CME router, the 7940 doesn't provide dial tone when the
hand set is pick up or the speaker button is press.
Conditions:
No dial-tone is heard when the speader phone or the hand set is pick up
on a 7940.
Workaround:
Remove the speed-dial from the ephone configuration in CME.
