Robin,

We also had a similar setup where phones register using a vpn link and we
were also seeing unregistrations.This can happen to due to several reasons.
Ipphone sends skinny keepalive messages every 30 seconds and waits for ack
as these are TCP packets and if it misses three acks it unregisters,I got
around this Issue by using qos and giving guaranteed bandwidth to signalling
traffic using port TCP 2000-2002.
