[cisco-voip] OT: Switch ports administratively shutdown on their own?

Any other config missing? Maybe somebody forgot to write the config
to memory after enabling the ports?

Sorry for the off topic issue, but need to bounce this off of others
to get some ideas of what might have happened.

I have a 3745 with a switch Ethernet port module in it. This morning
I see it rebooted, says "power on" so I suspect power failure due to
the severe weather in the area.

What is odd though is that every switch port was set to shutdown.
They all show "administratively shutdown" when you did a sh int.

Anyone aware of what might cause switch ports to be automatically
shutdown on their own? Some built in mechanism to prevent something?

Not familiar with anything personally, but I don't know it all. So
thought I would ask.
