The phone number is defined for the user right?  Not just associated,
but listed.

hi everyone-- 

I'm having trouble with something that I think I -should- know how to
do.. 

I've discovered a phone that's misprogramed insofar as what appears in
the CorpDir 
We're using the CM Corpdir, not any external one (unified, etc) 

I've gone in and fixed all fields on the phone to reflect the correct
person's name-- 
I've deleted the Global Directory user account (teacher lounge) 
and added a new one (firstname.lastname of the user in question who has
that phone now) 
I've updated/reset all devices. 

It's been an hour now, and corporate directory STILL isn't showing the
username--- 
the incorrect 'teacher lounge' entry for that phone is gone now-- lookup
by extension# shows nothing... 

But the firstname/lastname lookup for that person returns only the
person's name --- not their phone. 

I've associated their GD account with their physical phone--- 

What checkbox am I missing that links the extension in GD with the
person in GD ?? 

I'm sure it's something simple...but I just cannot recall what woul make
someone appear like that -- without their extension, or their extension
not showing up if searched for..
