[cisco-voip] Unity UM with Lotus: MWI not refreshing automatically

Does the Unity subscriber message page say the Indicator is ON when the light on the phone is not lit? This would indicate that unity is getting the new mail notification from the mailstore , but having an issue with the communication/call to call manager to light up the phone ocassionally. Do you have enough ports for dialout MWI , a reserved port for dialout MWI may be needed if the system is busy and is unable to process MWI dialouts at times perhaps.

If it saids the indicator is off on the unity subscriber message page, when the problem is happening, and refreshing changes the indicator status to On on this page then unity is not getting the new mail notification message from the mailstore and there is an issue in that part of the communication at times.

What version Unity TSP are you running? There have been some TSP issues that can cause port lockups, etc. I would also update to the current TSP if it isn't on the current one.

Re: [cisco-voip] MCSBackup affected by OSversion?

Hi,

my customer has CCM4.1(3) with Unity 4.2 Unified Messaging with Lotus R6.
Integration works properly except one thing: the MWI doesn't synchronize
automatically between CCM and Unity.

Only when I do a 'Refresh' in the Subscriber configuration profile for the
MWI, the MWI is light on or off in the subscriber's phone.

Any idea what could be going on?

Thanks in advance,

Ruben
