Hi Klaus,

Both ways appropriate.

I prefer group ports if this ports lead to the same provider for
example.

Subject: [cisco-voip] E1 trunk group on as5300

Hi!

I have an AS5300 with 4xE1 as SIP<->PSTN Gateway. For SIP--->PSTN calls,

I want to use all the E1 interfaces.

Can someone help me how to configure this?

Is it necessary to define a trunk and put the four E1 lines into the
trunk, or is it sufficient to have 4 identical pots dial-peers and the
router chooses the next dial-peer if on is congested?

thanks
Klaus
