How do you calculate the number of ACT modules/CMM Blades for a large
deployment?

 

Office A - Easy

300 7940 Handsets

SRND suggests budgeting 5% (15 sessions) for Conferencing 711/729a

SRND suggests budgeting 5% (15 sessions) need Transcoding 711/729a

 

If I was using a 3825 the Optimized Result(Default) is 10 DSP(s) (three
PVDM2-48 + one PVDM2-8) according to the online DSP Calculator on CCO.

 

 

Office B - How the heck?

3000 7940 Handsets

SRND suggests budgeting 5% (150 sessions) for Conferencing 711/729a

SRND suggests budgeting 5% (150 sessions) need Transcoding 711/729a

 

If I was using a WS-SVC-CMM-ACT the Optimized Result(Default) is XX
DSP(s) or X WS-SVC-CMM-ACT blades.
