Faye,
Do you have the proper license key for that, it's not a standard option
available on the Backup Exec software. That could be the issue. You
can use the Backup-to-disk feature for a local drive (that comes with
Backup Exec, but not to a network drive.

Has anybody out there ever figured out a way to get BackupExec
9.0 to run a Unity backup to a network drive folder instead of to an
onboard tape?
Running Unity 4.0(4) sr1 and BU exec 9.0 Rev 4454 on a Windows
2000 sp4 server. I'm trying to backup to a folder on another Win2k sp4
server.
